Read one page
Open the storybook and read slowly. For toddlers, one picture and one short sentence is enough.
Ask one question
Let the child answer in their own words. A simple answer is still a real answer.
Talk about God
Name one thing God shows us on that page: He sees, He hears, He rescues, He provides, He stays near.
Colour quietly
Use the matching colouring page while you repeat the big truth and pray one short prayer.

Before you start the study
Do I have to buy anything to use this study?
No. The questions, discussion points and prayers on this page are free. They follow the pages of the My First Exodus storybook, so it is easiest with the book open beside you.
How long does one study take?
As long as your child is enjoying it. Each study is short on purpose — one evening, one Sunday school moment, or one quiet conversation. Stop while they still want more.
Does it frighten young children?
The guide keeps the hard parts of Exodus gentle. The focus is not the plagues or Pharaoh, but that God sees, rescues, provides and stays near.
Which colouring book should I choose?
Ages 1–2 has big, simple shapes. Ages 2–5 has bold, friendly outlines. Ages 6–9 has more detail to colour. All three show the same pictures as the storybook.
